Rheanyra didn't accepted as the queen by most of the Westeros' lords only because she's a woman. The lords saw her as inferior to them, so they didn't even give her a chance to show them if she's fit to rule or not. On the other hand, Aegon obivously wasn't fit to rule but they tried to put him on the throne and impose this idea even though Aegon didn't want the throne or the crown, eventually he had to endure all this pain because of his mother and his grandfather's ambitions, and also because of some bigot lords. Both characters' fate really upsets me honestly, even though I don't like Aegon that much but what happened to him was a pity, maybe he eventually sat the iron throne but he literally became a walking dead. The war was wild and the toxicity of patriarchal system lies in it's roots. I tried to demonstrate this in the video and I also went according to the book because I believe the book did much better job than the series telling Rhenyra and Aegon's story regarding bigotry, sexism towards woman and corruption in medieval mindset.
