At random points in the session Some Pairs will be turned Dark Red and must get a kill before there timer run out, if they fail to get a kill they will lose a life. When you go to your last life you will unpair will your partner and if you die again they will be given an option to save you and repair themselves with you or kill you and gain +2 permanent hearts as a trade off.
