Here's a quick little tutorial showing you how to heat set Chalk Couture ink on fabric. Thanks for visiting my channel. If you're new to Craft with Kathie, drop me a line and say Hello! I love crafts of all kinds and more than crafting, I LOVE to share ideas and teach. If you've enjoyed this project, please give me a thumbs up, and click SUBSCRIBE to see more videos. Remember to click on the little 'bell' to be notified of new projects and ideas. This is just a little taste of chalking, if you can butter toast, then you can chalk! From small projects like refrigerator magnets to 18" x 24" masterpieces, to garlands and just about anything you can think of, YOU can chalk! Welcome to one of the newest DIYer's craze. It really is as easy as it looks. ********************* There are two main lines of products, chalk paste which allows you to remove it from many surfaces (chalkboard, dry erase boards, glass, mirror, metal) and reuse the surface again. Of course our chalk paste can be used on wood and just about any other type of surface too! Chalk paste goes on as a liquid and then dries to a hard surface. And then there is our ink which is intended to be permanent and needs to be heat set. Our ink is ideal for surfaces that will be washed, such as clothing, mugs, plates, and glassware. We use vinyl and silk screen transfers (kind of like stencils on steroids) which are premade, adhesive, reusable (8-12 times or more with proper care) and require NO WEEDING. Transfers may be cut apart and mixed and matched as per your desires .
