Register for MSD's 150th Anniversary Reunion Weekend!

TRANSCRIPT: Hello! I’m here in Downtown Frederick. I’m excited to share that we have over 250 people registered for MSD’s 150th Reunion Weekend. It is amazing that we will have former and current teachers and staff attending the reunion. There will be more registrants coming. The deadline to register is May 25th but we may extend the deadline one more week. Please go ahead and register now if you have not yet done so already. Let me take the time to show what your weekend will look like. Are you ready? Come and join us! Your 35 dollars registration fee includes admission to the Blue Side Tavern on Friday night. We’ll gather here with friends from 7pm to midnight. We will provide Hors d’Oeuvres, music, and trivia questions related to MSD history. This is a great opportunity for us to socialize before the big day on Saturday. Did you know that we have a group of cyclists who will ride a total of 150 miles on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on different routes. They will end their cycling tour here at MSD arriving on Friday at 2:30pm. Come by early and cheer for the cyclists as they arrive. You can also pick-up your registration badges then. On Saturday from 10am to 4pm, we will have a large tent on campus and approximately 15-20 different booths in the tennis court. We will serve a BBQ lunch that also includes a vegetarian and gluten-free diet. After lunch, we will go to the track field for the decade parade and class pictures. Then, we will move to the football field where everyone will stand on the marked 150 area for a group picture taken with a drone. Corn holes will be provided for anyone who wishes to play. There will also be golf carts available for anyone who wishes to tour the campus and visit the museum. Dr. David Denton, our former Superintendent, will be here too. Billy Bowman is working on getting former principals to come as well. We hope all of you can come to the reunion and join in on the fun! See you on June 22 - 23!
