What to do in Kathmandu on Monday? The Doleshwor Mahadev Temple in Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur is a modern Hindu temple being reconstructed. Yet, the traditions surrounding it are ancient, with lots of activity on Monday, a special festival with plenty of family activities being built on the temple site. During the month of June or July, there is an interesting festival here on Mondays. If you are hiking around on the Valley Rim Trek you could easily spend a Monday morning just chilling out here. As mentioned in the video, this temple is for forgiving and releasing your sins, so if you enjoy new healing experiences you'll enjoy lighting a candle at this temple. You don't have to be Hindu or give up your beliefs. You just might feel a shift.
