Finding the racing line is the most critical part of fast lap times but can be very hard to identify and I will share the easiest way I found over the years ! Physical marks for the different points of your racing line are very important not just for consistency but they can be reference points for testing different approach to every corner ! Driving iRacing , Assetto Corsa Competizione , RaceRoom , Automobilista 2 , Dirt Rally , rFactor 2 , or any other SIM or real Racing , the rules are the same ! For corners with blind APEX is very very important to find physical TURN IN POINT MARK to make sure you will be able to hit the Apex with precision! If you don't have those marks , try for a week to just look around and find ware exactly you are turning in reference to physical part of the road environment and then you can ask your brain to turn in earlier or later and check how that works for your times !
