From Akwamu to Dormaa: How did they kill Asantehene Obiri Yeboah (Explained in Twi)

One significant war occurred during the reign of Obiri Yeboah, the 4th Asantehene. The Dormaa people managed to defeat the Ashantis in this conflict. However, when Osei Tutu became the Asantehene, he sought revenge and eventually drove the Dormaa people out, forcing them to migrate to their current location in the Bono Region. This conflict is part of the larger history of the Ashanti Empire, which engaged in numerous wars to expand and consolidate its power. The Ashanti Empire was known for its military prowess and strategic alliances, which played a crucial role in its dominance in the region.
