Follow us on: Instagram:   / the_hobby_musician   Twitter:   / hobby_musician   In this episode, I’m going to review an incredible, affordable gig bag. Although gig bags are never going to be the flashiest pieces of equipment, so many of us simply have to use them. Often, true hard-shell cases can be cumbersome and frankly a little bit overkill if the majority of your playing is either entirely at home or just straight to and from a local venue. Gig bags are a very handy way of providing just enough instrument protection with the portability and convenience of a soft carrying case. Just sling it over your shoulder and you’re good to go! Some of the industry leaders in the arena of gig bags (companies like Mono®, etc.) offer some amazing options that have tremendous features…and often carry an equally tremendous price tag. However, with a little bit of homework and online comparison, I was able to find a much more affordable product that offers pretty much ALL of the same features as the go-to brands, as well as a few unexpected surprises, things I wasn’t anticipating but now that I’ve experienced, I’ll never go back! In the end, I hope you’ll see that as Hobby Musicians we can still give our instruments the protection they need (and deserve) at an astounding fraction of the cost. Want to check out these bags??
