Turn on subtitles or view the transcript at the bottom of the description if you'd like explanations on what I'm doing throughout the video I hate rust. My Torino has lots of it. First was to patch the floors, they're bad enough that the carpet is all that's left of the passenger rear and the front seat wasn't all that far from falling through. It's not a perfect job, but now the floors should be safe for a few more winters. It's a better job than self tapping some license plates in, at least. In another video, we'll fix more rust. The trunk wells are letting in all the exhaust fumes and you can't drive for more than a few minutes without feeling the effects of noxious gas. Chapters: 00:00 - Removing the interior to access the rusted floors 7:30 - Closer look at the floors. 11:10 - Cutting out the rust 16:26 - Starting to weld some metal back in 32:24 - Replacement of the main floor pan 48:10 - Fabricating the seat brace/frame 1:05:03 - Sealing and painting the finished floors 1:11:15 - Sound deadening 1:12:28 - Finishing touches before the interior goes in 1:15:50 - Reinstalling the interior 1:20:09 - All done. 1:20:40 - Cat 1:21:21 - Mouse update (sent them to a wildlife rehabilitation center).
