HESKIN HALL Lancashire classic car meet

Our first visit to the Heskin Hall classic car meet in Lancashire took place in February 2025, and given the time of year the turnout of interesting old cars was impressive. We don't often get up into Lancashire so we were hoping for a different set of classic cars to admire at Heskin Hall, ones that we don't tend to see on our usual "patch". The Heskin Hall classic car meet takes place in the grounds surrounding Heskin Hall itself, which is situated alongside the shopping village of the same name. There were many highlights, including an immaculate Hillman Avenger, a glorious 1940 Plymouth sedan, Austin A40 Mk2, Wolseley 1500 (I had a good chat with its owner in this video), an ex-Police Range Rover (again a chat with its owner features in this upload), a 1940s Ford truck on later running gear (which arrived with a much modified Standard Vanguard), Daimler 420 Sovereign, a Rover 3-Litre Coupe, plus an immaculate 1950 Dodge pickup, just to name a few. So yes, a very worthwhile and enjoyable morning out. I had planned to also re-visit Bygone Times, an antiques centre situated a short distance away, however the idea of us paying a total of £7.50 to enter a shop and hand over a raft of personal information (paid membership is required apparently) soon vetoed that idea.
