Erb's Palsy (a brachial plexus injury) is an injury to the nerves at the side of the neck . These nerves are in charge of sending impulses for feelings and movements for the shoulder and the arm . When these nerves are injured during birth or due to an accident this has several consequences. The arm and hand can have a partial or total palsy / paralysis and is much weaker.
