Craft Resin offers you two types of resin to suit a variety of creative projects: Deep Pour, or 2:1 resin, and Casting Resin, also known as Arts & Crafts or 1:1. Each type is made for specific projects, so it’s important to know which one works best for your projects! In this video you’ll learn how the two types on resin differ. 0:00 - Introduction 0:17 - Why It’s Important to Know the Difference 0:22 - Deep Pour Resin 1:02 - Arts & Crafts Resin 1:33 - Choose Perfect Resin for Your Projects 1:46 - Enjoy Your Resin! Deep Pour Resin: ⚖️ 2:1 mixing ratio (two parts resin to one part hardener) 📏 Designed for pouring in deeper layers, such as small tabletops or flower preservation. You can pour layers up to 100 mm thick in one go! 💧 Being low-viscosity (1100 CPS for resin and 1000 CPS for hardener), it flows easily, making it less likely for air bubbles to form ⏳ Has a pot life of 90 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to adjust your work ✅ It takes up to 48 hours for the resin to cure, creating a strong, clear finish Arts & Crafts Casting Resin: ⚖️ 1::1 mixing ratio (mixed in equal parts) 📏 Perfect for smaller, detailed projects such as jewelry, coasters, or crafts that require thinner layers up to 5-6 mm thick 💧 Has a medium viscosity (1600 CPS for resin and 1200 CPS for hardener). ⏳ The pot life is 35–40 minutes, giving you enough time for detailed work ✅ Takes up to 24 hours to cure, so you can finish your project quickly. To choose the right resin, think about your project’s goals. Deep Pour Resin is perfect for thicker pours and clear, while Arts & Crafts is ideal for smaller pieces that need faster curing and sharp details. Both are high-quality options that will give you professional results every time! 💎 🔗 Shop our epoxy resin products: Brand store US: https://www.craft-resin.com Brand store UK: https://craft-resin.co.uk Brand store EU: https://www.craft-resin.eu Follow us on Instagram for inspiration: / craft.resin Video created by: / whittle_by_whittle_ 🛒 Use code WHITTLE10 for a 10% discount at craft-resin.com!
