Loss control goes beyond the basics, intelligently tracking materials like Sweepings and Purge in "virtual silos" to ensure an accurate Mass Balance. Most importantly, the system turns OEE from a backward-looking metric into an immediate decision-making tool. Displayed on live shop floor dashboards, OEE is calculated in real-time based on the pillars of Availability (was the machine running?), Performance (at what speed?), and Quality (how many perfect units were made?), empowering operators to act instantly. To build this digital bridge, the system integrates cutting-edge technologies. The foundation is the Wonderware platform (System Platform and MES), which communicates with Rockwell PLCs on the shop floor. Robust integration with SAP is orchestrated by TIBCO middleware, and all operational data is stored and managed in a SQL Server database. The result is a transformation in production management, delivering complete real-time visibility, full batch traceability, and a significant increase in efficiency.
