How energy labels on industrial doors impacts our future

Historically, the energy efficiency of our products has been measured in terms of thermal transmittance, or U-value. The better insulated a door is, the lower the U-value can be. But this is not the whole story. This new energy labelling system encourages greater transparency within the industry. They empower us to offer more appropriate entrance solutions to our customers. It enables builders a choice between different manufacturers and types of door, depending on the application and desired behavior, allowing them to check the correlation between the various parameters related to the door’s thermal efficiency.
