Demonstration to show the correct and efficient steps for leak testing a Richard Wolf flexible endoscope using a manometer. Reminder: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU). This video applies to digital (sensor) and fiber optic endoscopes from Richard Wolf including the Boa Vision, Cobra Vision, Mamba Vision, , , , Richard Wolf has validated this leak test. Holding pressure for 30 seconds is according to the IFU. Recently ST91:2021 was published and we have noted the mention of 60 seconds, but do not plan to change the Richard Wolf IFU at this time. The leak test is conducted with a dry endoscope prior to cleaning. If the scope does not hold pressure it is considered failed and it is not suitable for use. Failed endoscopes should be returned as soon as possible to Richard Wolf for repair. Manually clean and disinfect the endoscope prior to returning. Contact your local representative or call customer service at 800-323-9653 to initiate the repair process. FOR INTERNAL/EXTERNAL USE
