#pottery #art #mica hello dirty potters, today continues our mini series on our Mica powder experiments. last time we experimented with putting it into a glaze, this time we are experimenting with putting it directly on top of a glaze before we fire it. I did get some satisfactory results although my hypothesis about what it would do to the glaze itself is incorrect. at this point I do not think that Micah powder is the thing that makes sparkles in glazes although I do think it has some utility to make specific textures.
