An affordable Halloween decoration using the absolute cheapest skull I could get that was life size. I’m going show you that you can create a pretty decent Halloween decoration using cardboard and latex. As with most crafts, hot glue and paint are required. The basic steps will be creating the skeletal base with a toilet paper tube for the neck and paper towel tube for the shoulders. Then you’ll add paper towels saturated in latex to cover it all and then you’ll go back and build up some detail in certain areas. Finally you’ll paint the whole thing and dress it. That’s basically it, and if you’d like to see more extensive detailed tutorials on certain aspects of the build, be sure to let me know in the comments. I feel a whole video could be made specializing in how to do build the ears, or how to create that rolled back look to the eyes, or even how to make the ‘nernies’ mentioned at the end of the video.
