MIDI Merging - 2 Devices To Control One Synth
After much deliberation, I knew I needed to utilise the templates on my Novation SL49 mk3. Which gave me extra MIDI CC control over things not accessible on the keyboard itself. My MC-307 Groovebox just spits out standard Note,Pitch & Velocity CC's. So I decided the time had come for a MIDI Merge, two devices effecting the one synth. Merge 4 is ace!, though I am not sure why the outputs are limited to 2, also on the Merge 8. I can apply this to several situations now I have it, a liberation & handy tool for sure. P.s Korg Monologue was running thru Landlord Chorus & Delay, Strymon Iridium.
