Sources indicate that under the new policy, premium liquor brands will be made available at all Delhi stores, with prices set to be the same as in the National Capital Region (NCR). This move addresses a gap in the current policy where the absence of premium brands led to revenue loss for the Delhi government. According to the report, "premium liquor brand will be available at all Delhi stores with prices set to be equal to those in the national capital region." Additionally, discussions have taken place regarding the possibility of lowering the drinking age for beer, however, a consensus on this specific issue has not yet been reached.
