Network Southeast Class 465 heads to Charing Cross and other 465 observations (25th February 2025)

As part of the Railway 200 celebrations taking place, 465908 was repainted into a modified Network Southeast livery, which was applied during the unit's most recent overhaul by Wabtec at Doncaster Works waggon shops. On February 25th, a press event was held at London Charing Cross, officially unveiling the unit, which would be named Chris Green in honour of the former director of Network Southeast, who was instrumental in the revitalisation of commuter services serving London and the southeast and saw the introduction of various new rolling stock, with the Networker family being a part of said modernisation efforts. For the event, 465908 and 465192 worked the 5Z00 from Gillingham E.M.U.D. to London Charing Cross. 465192 headed to Grove Park C.S.D. as the 5Z02 with 465908 heading down to Grove Park as the 5Z04 after the ceremony ended. Also featured in this video are empty stock and passenger workings of other Class 465 units and 466 units. All subclasses currently in service are represented in this video.
