In this video we show you the ultimate van racking solution - Sortimo racking - installed into a Mercedes Sprinter, along with some security upgrades! Make sure you enter our HUGE 10k Giveaway!    • Видео   This BRAND NEW Mercedes Sprinter was in need of a racking solution to make it the ultimate van for its new owner's daily use. To achieve this, we sat down with the customer and designed a bespoke Sortimo racking solution to perfectly suit his van specifications and personal use case. Sortimo Racking is an incredibly high quality racking solution that can be installed into most vehicles at different levels, due to the totally customisable format. In this van, we have installed two rackings, one on either side of the vehicle. On the drivers side, we have a rack that houses 6 drawers facing externally, as well as a storage space and accessible shelf, all that line up with the drivers side sliding door. Internally on the drivers side is a rack of shelving for storing larger items, without needing a drawer. On the passenger side, a shorter rack has been fitted to allow access through the sliding door. This rack has 5 drawers of different sizes, and additional open shelves. This is all fitted on top of a bespoke Sortimo floor with lashing points bolted to the vehicle, and secured with special brackets to the frame of the vehicle making it totally solid. Sortimo racking is fairly lightweight, especially compared to wood, and is all fully crash tested so you know there is no additional risk by filling your van with this equipment. We also installed additional LED lighting into the van, with an independent switch located inside the sliding door for turning this off and on to provide extra light within the storage compartment. We are fully authorised Sortimo installers, so if you are in need of a solution make sure you get in touch as we can design and install your new racking system to the highest possible standards in our 11,000sqft workshops, which also allows us to carry out fleet installs on multiple vehicles. To add additional security to the van, we have also installed deadlocks to all doors on the van. There is a combination of bar locks and hook locks, all of which use a key to provide additional security. Once the vehicle is locked with the factory key, you simply use the deadlock key (one key does all of the locks, and this key is unique to the locks on your van). This is an excellent visual deterrent, as well as physical safety improvement to help keep your tools safe. Thanks for watching our video.
