In this video we make three different batches of hot process soap: Orange-Rosemary with Goats Milk and Honey, Kudzu, and Lavender. Using three different crock pots, we cooked them all at the same time. This video is a little longer than usual - sorry! We try to keep them short, but making three different soaps in one day takes a bit longer. We completed the "cooking" portion of the process off-camera, and here we show you how we scented, colored, swirled, molded, and un-molded each batch. The Orange-Rosemary is made with palm kernel flakes, coconut, sweet almond, castor, avocado, and olive oils. We added silk, goats milk, and local honey to this soap. The fragrances are essential oils. The kudzu and lavender soaps were made using olive, coconut, palm, and castor oils. Lavender was an essential oil; we added silk to that batch,. We added dried, ground kudzu leaves to the Kudzu scented soap. Kudzu is a fragrance oil. We share this video just as an example of how we finish our HP soaps. Please do a lot of research and learn as much as you can about soap making before making soap for the first time. Thank you so much for watching!
