This was a wonderful Summer escape into the Mountain area of Morella. It's is an ancient city located on the Top of the hill in the province of Castellón. Depending on seasons it can open up differently to everyone who visits it. The trip by car from Valencia can take around 1Hr. But this trip is totally worth it with magnificent views of Spanish Plains and mountain area that you get to enjoy, once you reach to the top of the Castle Ruins. This was a family Excursion and everyone found something special to see and do. In the Old part of town sit down in a cool breezee street and get some refreshing drinks with snacks (Pinchos). A god idea is to Reserve seats in some fancy restaurant before going up the mountain. On the way back you will be happy you have a place to sit down hassle free and joy some lovely-foody Spanish cousin. I've been in Morella few times already. Every time it opens up to me more and more, Its both beautiful in Summer and Winter time. If you like Castles, Breathtaking views, Delicious food - this place is a Must!
