This time, I take you to the breathtaking land of the Alps, exploring both its natural wonders and its artistic traditions. Our trip starts in Interlaken, a lively town popular with tourists, set between two beautiful lakes. From there, we take a boat ride on the calm waters of Lake Brienz and arrive at the lovely village of Brienz – the main focus of this episode. Thanks to an invitation from the School for Woodcarving in Brienz, I get a special chance to learn about the fascinating world of woodcarving. With the help of Leo Kambourian, a talented student at the school, I explore the building, meet other students, and discover the unique skills and techniques behind this traditional Swiss craft. No visit to Switzerland would be complete without heading into the Alps. Come along as we hike through snowy Grindelwald and walk along the exciting First Cliffwalk. We also go up Rigi Mountain to enjoy amazing views above the clouds and visit Zermatt, where we see incredible glaciers and the famous Matterhorn – the mountain that inspired the Toblerone chocolate logo.
