Muş is a province located in the Upper Murat-Van Section of the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. The highway connecting Van and Bitlis to Bingöl via the Buğdan Pass in the west passes through the city. This road connects to Erzurum via Hınıs at one point. In addition, one of the most important means of transportation of the city is Muş Airport. The airport, which was put into service in 1992, is 18 km away from the city center.
