In this video I take a close look at the GTmedia N4 infrared night vision goggles — a surprisingly capable budget night vision device costing around £60 from AliExpress. The video begins with night-time footage at St Mary’s Lighthouse and Island in Whitley Bay, followed by a hands-on overview where I explain what the goggles are, what they do, and demonstrate all of the main buttons, menu options and features. I also show what comes in the box. You’ll then see around four minutes of test footage shot at night in Northumberland, looking toward the lighthouse and later across farmland and rolling hills. I’ve colour-corrected the clips to enhance the classic green night vision appearance for a more realistic experience. The GTmedia N4 offers 1080p video and photo capture, a 3" LCD display, 5x digital zoom, adjustable infrared illumination, and onboard storage via microSD card. It’s powered by a rechargeable battery and records directly to card for playback later.
