Download Emily's cello albums at: http://emilyplayscello.bandcamp.com http://oldstyle.bandcamp.com About Lobke: Lobke Sprenkeling obtained her Bachelor of Music as a recorder player in 2001 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, and her Masters Degree as a recorder player and a theatrical performer in 2003 at the Royal Conservatory and the Utrecht Conservatory. She received a national scholarship from the national Prins Bernhard Culture Fund in order to study Medieval music with Pedro Memelsdorff at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) in Barcelona. She's had singing classes for many years and is now studying with David Mason. She has also received ballet and contemp classes for several years. As a teacher she's taught the recorder for many years. She was the recorder teacher at the preparatory conservatory of Valencia between 2007 and 2016, and is now the recorder teacher at Madrid Royal Conservatory, where she also teaches chamber music and Improvisation & Ornamentation in the Early Music Department. She has performed with several outstanding Early Music ensembles and orchestras, such as: Les Talens Lyriques, la Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, La Ritirata, Concerto 1700, Ímpetus Ensemble, La Capella de Ministrers, Harmonia del Parnàs, La Academia de los Nocturnos etc. She has also been involved in multidisciplinary theatre from a musical perspective, having studied Theatre Making and Stage Direction at Carlos III University and Yale Summer Program, and taken courses with SITI Company New York (Suzuki, Viewpoints techniques) y choreographer Antonio Ruz. She was accepted in the database of Cirque du Soleil as a vocalist/recorder player. She performed her experimental music theatre pieces "Incipit" (2015, 2018) and "Lost" (2017) in different theatres in Valencia, Sevilla and Madrid.
