I talk through how to check the oil level on a 996 generation 911 Turbo. The 911 Turbo 996 needs to be warmed up and running at idle to check the oil level, unlike other 996s. I show you on the on board computer how to perform this check, which should be done every 2-4 weeks ideally. These 911 Turbos are dry sump lubricated, derived from the GT1 le mans racer, in fact the block is a modified aircooled unit with water cooling. The engine is incredibly robust and can be modded to huge horsepower figures.
