How you can reach Bhaja Caves: The Bhaja Caves are located in the state of Maharashtra, India, near the town of Lonavala (about 12 km away). By Road: From Mumbai: Take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and drive towards Lonavala. Once you reach Lonavala, follow the road signs to Bhaja Caves. It’s a short drive from Lonavala, and you can use a local cab, autorickshaw, or rent a vehicle. The distance from Mumbai to Bhaja Caves is around 95-100 km, and it will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. From Pune: Bhaja Caves are located about 55-60 km from Pune. Take the Pune-Mumbai Highway and drive towards Lonavala. Once you reach Lonavala, follow signs or ask for directions to the caves. It’s a short drive from there.
