Yesterday afternoon, Melbourne Airport welcomed a very rare visitor: Kalitta Air. It was operating a charter flight to deliver a mass amount of Tesla batteries from the U.S. The flight touched down at 1pm from Fiji and left several hours later to Shanghai once unloaded. Featured here in this short film is the arrival, unloading of freight, pushback, taxi and takeoff. Being so rare here at Melbourne, gathering as much diverse footage of it as possible was a priority.
