Part I You take a picture with your coffee, a picture with your friend, we are all now more aware of how we look. We are constantly analyzing each other. One of these biggest insecurities seems to be the nose. The number of cosmetic surgeries performed every year has increased dramatically in the past few years. Cosmetic surgery aims to enhance a patient’s features through the manipulation and reduction of cartilage, tissue, bones or all three. This video focuses on rhinoplasty surgery, one of the most common and popular cosmetic surgeries. In this video we explore the consultation, procedure and recovery period of a rhinoplasty. Although this is a common surgery there are complications that could arise post-surgery. Most complications are post-anesthesia related complications, which we will delve deeper into in the video.
