Ok, so tings got a little outta hand on the pontoon on my trip up north this summer. Fine. It's been a hard year what with the covid and all you know?! But still, nortern Michigan is hands down my favorite place in da whole world and well, I had to write a song about it! So here's a lil music video from footage I took during my trip to show you just how great lake life is, no matter what happened. And you know please like and subscribe! Oh gosh here comes da Marine Patrol Screamin at me like I’m an animal I jump in and try to swim away But then they pull me out and put me in restraints Up North And I rented a Pontoon Up North And it’s drunk o’clock at noon They throw me in a jail cell overnight And write me up a ticket for a BUI I couldn’t believe it, I swear on my life I didn’t even know drinkin and boating is a crime! Now I’m driving down I-75 Thinking bout what I’ll tell and not tell my wife If I’m being honest she’s probably gonna leave So how bout we keep this just t’ween you and me Up North And I rented a pontoon Up North And it’s drunk o’clock at noon I swear that I’ll be better, I swear I’m gonna quit I’ll do it for my wife, I’ll do it for my kids Maybe it’s time I started to admit, I think I might be an alcohol- Ehhhh…. I mean you know, this really is my one vacation for da year so I don’t really see a problem with just a couple beers! Up North!
