Chokey emerges straight from the raw underground of Belgrade. As a young and rising DJ and music producer, he has quickly built a name for himself with a distinct sonic identity and fearless blending of genres that challenge the norms of club culture. His sets swing between dark, high-energy, and unpredictable moments, and his unique sound has become easily recognizable within the scene. Despite his short career so far, Chokey has already performed at some of the biggest and most respected venues in Belgrade and Novi Sad, proving his ability to take full control of the dancefloor. Mayday is at the forefront of Birmingham’s next great Grime generation. His buzz is starting to travel in and out of the city and he’s being dubbed as the leader going into the next decade. 2025 saw Mayday bring together the new Grime generation in Birmingham with the Awful Lotta Birmingham mixtape, defining the current and future era.
