Alvis cars - best of British? Inc TD21, TC21/100 Grey Lady, 12/50 & many more

One of my favourite Alvis cars of all is the TD21 Series 1 fixed-head coupe of the late 1950s, I think these are wonderfully stylish old cars. Saying that, there are quite a few pre-war Alvises that I'd also happily give over garage space to - years ago I bought a Volvo Amazon and while talking to the owner, he casually pointed to a chassis for an Alvis 12/50 just leaning against the garage wall. Fortunately for the sake of my depleted bank balance I didn't ask what his plans for the chassis were, so what happened to it (and the other parts that were for it) I have no idea. This upload gathers together photos of Alvis cars across the years, seen at car shows since the early 2000s. Highlights for me personally include the aforementioned TD21 fixed-head coupes (especially the Graber-bodied cars), a fine pre-war Speed 25 spotted at a VSCC Curborough sprint meeting a long time ago, a very original Alvis TC21/100 Grey Lady that turned up at a classic car show held at Malvern in 2022 (check out the video on this channel), and the final car to feature in this collection, a proposal for a new Alvis based around the Rover P6 (Rover owned the Alvis company by this time).
