This is an ask to use Au was made by me Art by me Hoarfrosttale is an Undertale Alternate Universe (AU) in which repeated timeline manipulation causes reality to develop a defensive response known as Hoarfrost. Instead of shattering or corrupting, timelines become permanently frozen in place. In this AU: SAVE and RESET no longer function. Events are preserved rather than erased. The Underground exists in a state of suspended stillness. The AU focuses on permanence, consequence, and emotional weight rather than insanity or destruction. Core Concept After excessive resets, the fabric of reality adapts. When one final reset is attempted, the timeline does not rewind. It crystallizes. This phenomenon, called Hoarfrost, locks: Monsters mid-action Environmental movement (water, lava, wind) Magic attacks Emotional states The world becomes a preserved snapshot of accumulated timelines. Timeline Mechanics Resets Resets are permanently disabled. The Determination system is overridden by Hoarfrost. SAVE Points SAVE points appear visually but are inert. They emit a cold blue glow instead of gold. Death If the player dies, they restart at the beginning of the frozen timeline. However, previous environmental damage remains visible in cracks and fractures across the world. Player Actions Choices cannot be undone. Attacking frozen monsters shatters them permanently. Sparing them weakens the frost’s hold slightly. He is emotionally exhausted and resigned. He believes freezing the timeline is the only way to prevent catastrophic collapse.
