The integrated compact laser rangefinder (LRF) is fitted into a single optical channel, and gives the riflescope a capability to measure distances up to 800 metres and a thermal detection range up to 1800 metres. The thermal sensor is specified at 640×480 pixel @ 17 μm, aperture F50/1.0 and a low NETD sensitivity below 25 mK. The magnification ranges from 2x to 16x, with “Picture-in-picture” mode to enhance the target if needed. There are 10 reticle shapes in 9 color modes. The new Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO will be available from Q1 2022. It is made in Europe.
