{Ep. 19} Morning walks & Abandoned houses in Lefkimmi, Corfu

The last few days in Lefkimmi the rain stopped and we were able to explore the surroundings at our own pace. Walking around the village showed us an interesting contrast between evolving towards the future and maintaining the tradition. Modern bars and shops with the latest technologies are mixed alongside old houses built in the traditional way, some of them rebuilt, others, many others, in ruins. The ruins have always seemed to me sad and beautiful at the same time; sad because nobody has been able to take care of them, but beautiful because of the number of details that are willing to tell their own story. - Subscribe our Yotube Channel!
