Hi, everyone! In this video, we’ll take you to a big market in the suburbs of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. It was my first time trying Tangyuan (Sugar-Coated Fruits) 🍢, and it felt amazing. Only 3 yuan per skewer, and it’s said to be a childhood memory for Chengdu people! At a small stall in the middle, I saw an old grandma selling zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). I heard that zongzi in southern and northern China are different, with some being salty and others sweet. People have even argued over this, haha! Which flavor do you prefer? At another stall, I found Youtuotuo (Fried Dough Balls), one of Chengdu's favorite snacks. After asking around, I found out it’s been around for decades, and so many people come to buy it! Chestnut cakes are really nutritious and healthy, and the big pot looks like a piece of art! Sichuan-style mixed vegetables are famous for being spicy and refreshing, especially great with rice!
