This short film was composed of footage captured during my visit to Auschwitz Birkenau in January 2000. Although originally filmed on a video camera, I added a cine effect during editing to evoke an older, more timeless feel. It is important to distinguish that these actions were carried out by the Nazis, not the German people as a whole. It would be incorrect to attribute responsibility to all Germans. The German people themselves recognize the tragedy of these events and share in the sorrow they have caused. Please consider this distinction in your comments. Thank you.
