From HEC-HMS v4.9 through v4.11, the HEC-HMS meteorologic model underwent significant modification to make certain modeling tasks easier and more intuitive. This effort was known amongst the HEC-HMS team as the "Met Model Restructure." Changes to the HEC-HMS meteorologic model include: • Meteorologic processes were generalized, • Meteorologic model and basin model computes were de-coupled, • Meteorologic model and basin model linkages for a gridded met model were made automatic, • Interpolation methods were added for all meteorologic processes, • and, snow methods were migrated to the basin model.
