NVIDIA wants to stop cryptocurrency mining on the RTX 30 GPUs, especially on the upcoming RTX 3060 cards, which are going to launch on February 25th. That's why they have come out with a new driver which will limit the hash rate and will also be bringing some mining specific GPUs with no display outputs. I am still doubtful that cryptocurrency miners will go after these mining-specific GPUs, since they won't be able to resell them as easily. It's also worth noting that some silicon will be allocated to the manufacturing process of these crypto-specific cards, so we'll see how that will impact availability of gaming RTX 3000 cards. The RX 6700XT might also be launching sometime in March, but the official launch date has not yet been confirmed by AMD. Still, if this GPU will launch for $399, we might see a lot of people swarming for them, including cryptominers. Intel's Rocket-Lake S CPUs are also set to launch sometime in March and MSI started sampling reviewers motherboards and coolers, so expect to see more Rocket-Lake S benchmark leaks in the foreseeable future.
