JOIN BROADCAST PLAZA TODAY, DISCORD'S MEDIA DISCUSSION COMMUNITY — http://bit.ly/S31MA WJET, an ABC affiliate, and WFXP Fox 66 both in Erie, Pennsylvania, debuted a new slate of opens on Monday, January 31, 2022 that clearly look like an in-house design. Both stations are controlled by Nexstar Media Group. Here's a montage of opens recorded on the following day, Tuesday, February 1. Thanks to Jacob for the tip. By the time the 5pm newscast rolled around, WJET was back to their old opens and talent bumps, so I only have the morning open and talent bump from them. WFXP ran the opens both in the morning at 8am for Good Day Erie, and at 10pm, so those are included. As an added bonus, their variation of the Nexstar endtag is included as well, recorded from the morning newscast. The music sounds like a random production music track, and I couldn't tell you the name of it. Voiceovers are unchanged though, with WJET still using Ray Otis while WFXP continues with Max McGill. David Belmondo and meteorologist Tom DiVecchio are the morning talent while Jennifer Mobilia (new hire) is the primetime anchor. 0:00 - 6am Forecast First 0:38 - Tease 0:54 - JET 24 Good Morning Erie Open 2:32 - Bump to break 2:47 - Talent Bump 3:05 - WFXP David Belmondo legal ID 3:10 - Fox 66 News Good Day Erie Open 4:08 - Fox 66 News First at Ten Open 4:59 - WFXP 10pm rejoin 5:36 - WJET Good Morning Erie close/Nexstar endtag ©2022 Nexstar Media Inc. and WJET-TV, no copyright infringement intended.
