Toronto Korean Festival 2025 🇰🇷 Evening Walk | North York K-Pop & Food Fest Join me on a Friday evening walk through the Toronto Korean Festival 2025 at Mel Lastman Square (5100 Yonge Street, North York), as the city celebrates the 25th anniversary of one of Canada’s biggest Korean cultural events. This year’s festival is all about K-Culture — from incredible K-Pop and K-Dance performances to street food stalls serving Korean classics like Tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, and hotdogs. The dedicated “Chimek Pavilion” (chicken & beer) and “Bibimbap Pavilion” were festival favorites, with long lines of hungry visitors eager to try authentic flavors. On the main stage, the energy was high with dance competitions, live DJs, and a concert by K-Pop girl group PURPLE KISS. Crowds gathered to cheer, sing, and dance along, filling Mel Lastman Square with excitement. Beyond the music and food, the festival also showcased traditional Korean culture. From Taekwondo demonstrations by KBBMA & JUNGKO Taekwondo to the Royal Hanbok parade and a traditional wedding ceremony, it was a unique blend of modern K-Culture and timeless heritage. The vendor zone featured everything from K-Beauty products to crafts and souvenirs, while families enjoyed the festival’s kid-friendly activities. The Toronto Korean Festival is not just an event — it’s a vibrant celebration that brings together locals, visitors, and the Korean community to share food, culture, music, and fun.
