Are the FAIR4RS Principles working? FAIR4RS 2 year review - Webinar 1

The FAIR for Research Software (FAIR4RS) Principles, released in 2022, aim to promote and encourage the findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability (FAIR) of research software. Adoption and implementation of the FAIR4RS Principles can increase the transparency, reproducibility, and reusability of research by providing research software that can be executed, replicated, built-upon, combined, reinterpreted, reimplemented, and/or used in different settings and by third-parties. Now, about two years later, a small group of core contributors to the FAIR4RS principles are seeking to understand if the principles have been useful and usable, or difficult to understand or implement, with the idea that this may lead to a new version of the principles, if needed. This webinar is one of two sessions held in November 2024 to connect with users of FAIR4RS and help the developers understand if a full review is necessary to make changes.
