In preparation for the 2024 Iron Horse Rambles, the Reading & Northern steam crew took #2102 for a break-in run after doing some axle work. They went from the Port Clinton steam shop to Tamaqua Station and back running with a speed restriction of 10 mph the entire way. This made for an unusually leisurely chase where I was able to catch them at nearly every crossing.
