YOU ARE LIGHT. Deep inside of you, you want to change. Because if you look harder, you'll realize, that from the very beginning, God created you for good things. You are light. One's identity has a direct link to a person's destiny. Mahalaga na malaman mo munang ilaw ka, that you are the light of the world, all of a sudden everything follows. Ang kandila may kapasidad na magbigay ng liwanag. Pero hangga't hindi 'yan nadadapuan ng apoy, mananatili s'yang walang saysay. You are the light of the world. You have to accept who you are. You have to learn how to accept your true identity. Because your identity unlocks your destiny. When you know who you are, you begin to act that way. The reason why so many people don't fulfil their destiny kasi hindi nila alam kung swan magsisimula. Lito sila sa pagkatao nila. 2. IF YOU ARE LIGHT, THEN STOP LIVING IN DARKNESS "Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy,[g] your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy,[h] your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you." - Luke 11:34-36 Ilaw ka na, anong ginagawa mo't gumagawa ka ng maliliit na kadiliman? Tingnan mo ang isang apoy, silipin mo nga kung sa loob nito'y may maliit na kadiliman? Ang conflict ng maraming mananampalataya, Kristyano ka na, ano pang ginagawa mo sa kadiliman. "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light..." - Ephesians 5:8 "(or the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." - Ephesians 5:9-11 Alam n'yo ang kapangyarihan ng kadiliman? Kapag nanatili ito sa kadiliman. But the moment you expose one thing to the light, change starts to happen. Bakit maraming bondage sa pornography, sa corruption, sa iba pa? Kasi nga nakakapagtago. Kapag inexpose mo ang isang masama, pinuputol mo ang pagkakataon nitong magpatuloy sa buhay mo. Kaya napakahalaga ng confession. May mga bagay ka bang kailangang dalhin sa liwanag? You are light. Stop living in darkness. 3. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE. One of the greatest safeguards to Christianity is when you allow your light shine, allow yourself to be known. Once people know who you are, you will be extra careful. You will be guarded in your actions because you know you are protecting a testimony. "You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." - Matthew 5:15-16 Here's a speech from Nelson Mandela talking about our light and shining unto others as well: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." "Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever." - Daniel 12:3 I challenge you church, let's leave the works of darkness. That is not you anymore. That is not who you are. Don't allow the devil to keep on lying to you. That is a lie. You are light. Let your light shine upon men that God may be glorified.
