This very intricate LEGO Friends set is excellent for Adult Fans of LEGO, collectors, and LEGO Friends and City fans alike, with its vibrant parts palette, challenging building techniques, and no juniorization. The theming and storytelling potential makes this set appealing to all ages. Lots of very classy, posh looking mini-builds are spread out throughout the three story building. Lots of accessories accessible to both the minidolls and interchangeable with minifigs of your choosing as well. As a bonus, a very neat Schnauzer is included alongside the four mini-dolls. Younger builders will benefit from the playability; but LEGO fans of all ages will certainly enjoy the details. What I liked about this set too, is that some parts of the build made me forget that this was a LEGO Friends Set, feeling more like a Creator Expert/Icons modular building. This came especially when working several of the interior details. The only flaw is the open back which is standard for sets like this, which are not quite the 18+ Modulars but really act as in-betweens bridging the traditional play sets and AFOL builds. Some parts come in odd quantities making doubling this a great idea to form a more complete look. Nonetheless, plenty of awesome elements and a great value for the price.
