Purchase SP-150 Here: https://amzn.to/302ya9D In this video I measure the true wattage, the PPFD at different distance, and the temperature of the light after running for 30 minutes. Mars Hydro sent me this light to test out. Follow me in Instagram: / smartgrowautomation Watts: 134W @ 120V and 139W @ 240V Diodes: 322 LEDs made by Epistar and rated to last 50,000 hours Color Temperature: 4000 Kelvin Grow Area: 2ft x 2ft PPF Output: 250 @ 120V and 280 @ 240V Lumen Output: 18,000 @ 120V and 19,500 @ 240V Lumens/PPF: 72 Weight: 5.85 lbs Dimensions: 23.6 x 3.1 x 2 inches The Mars Hydro SP-150 meets or exceeds the specs listed by the company. They claimed only 387 PPFD at 18” and I was consistently getting higher readings. Dropping down even lower to 12 inches and this can be quite a powerful light. I would only recommend 24 inches or higher for seedlings or early veg period plants. I think the SP-150 represents a departure from the previous lights Mars Hydro was manufacturing. They stopped the annoying practice of listing equivalent watts in their product names (which I understand why they had to do, but still), and they are now putting out powerful lights at an affordable price. The efficiency of this light is fairly decent, especially for the price. I can definitely recommend this for a small 2ft x 2ft grow area.
