🪶 In this video, I create a large decorative heart from thick drywall — entirely by hand. The process begins with a simple pencil sketch: a heart shape with flowing organic patterns inside. Using a knife, the design is carefully carved directly into the gypsum core while the drywall is still dry. After separating the heart from the base, it is briefly dipped into water (about 5 seconds). This allows the top paper layer to be gently removed — the drawing is no longer needed, as the pattern is already sculpted into the plaster itself. ✨ The result is a refined bas-relief in a classical style. The heart resembles both a Valentine symbol and a stylized leaf motif at the same time — calm, natural, and timeless. 🪢 The edges are finished with a thick beige synthetic rope, which also forms a hanging loop at the top.
