Today I’m checking out the Extremis folding knife from Half Face Blades, and this one feels like a tank right out of the box. It’s a compact titanium frame lock built with premium materials, smooth action, and serious build quality. The blade is S45VN steel with a flat grind and drop point profile, finished in a black DLC coating that gives it a dark, aggressive look. The handle is contoured titanium with bronze anodizing and oil-rubbed accents, paired with a titanium backspacer and an American flag deep-carry pocket clip. Inside, it runs ceramic Skiff bearings with hardened races and detent, plus a hardened steel lock insert and overtravel stop for long-term durability. All hardware is premium, and the knife is fully assembled and made in the USA. I go over the specs, what I like, and a few small nitpicks like the stiff lock face and how the flipper tab behaves more like a finger guard than a true flipper.
